New Construction Consulting

At Craft Buildings, we offer the ability to work closely alongside our team as we help you identify, design, and, construct your new craft beverage manufacturing facility from the ground up. Our New Construction Consulting services are tailored to your specific needs as it relates to getting your space needs identified, your construction budget established, and your design and construction teams in place all while working to make your dreams a reality.

Our new construction consulting services include:

  • 6-12 month engagement where we help you through the entire planning stages of a commercial building project.

  • Initial Design Phase: Work to identify your specific building needs based on your business plan and equipment manufacture specifications. Engage a licensed architect to complete a set of detailed drawings and schematics of the building.

  • Design/Plan Approval Phase: Working closely with the architect, our team will help you navigate the planning and zoning requirements based on the municipality in which you are looking to construct your new building. *This phase may take several months to complete based on several factors including a professional survey, soil core sample testing, and water testing, as well as the current schedule and potential backlog the local planning and zoning board may have. Moreover, if your municipality requires public comments, studies of wastewater system loads, traffic, or anything else related to the operation of a craft beverage manufacturing facility you may have an extended design/plan approval phase.

  • Once your proposed building design has passed through the required bodies within your local municipality our team is happy to help source, interview, and recommend a short list of contractors that would be suitable for the construction of your new building. This may include both prefabrication contractors (buildings manufactured in a closed indoor environment) as well as stick-built contractors (buildings built 100% outdoors).

We highly recommend working with our team of licensed commercial agents to help identify and secure a short list of land/lot opportunities suitable to build your new construction building prior to engaging with us on the management of the construction process.
